STORY

Legendary Gangsta Rap trio from the southside of Stockton, CA composed of rappers Young Mack-T (now known as Tizzle), Ro-D & Doo Lo. The group was formed in the middle of the 90's & originated from another group called Funk Mobb (not the Funk Mobb from Vallejo, CA), of which both Ro-D & Young Mack-T were members.

D.O.A. released 4 full length albums from 1996 to 1999 that are all classic, among the best to come out of Stockton, CA... Unfortunately, only their last one, dropped on 2 Da Face Records, can be found easily & for a decent price. You can forget about buying the first 3 albums, released on Funk Mobb Records...

If Ro-D was also a member of Ro-D-N-Def Kru, one of the earliest Stockton, CA rap group, he didn't release anything else after Funk Mobb & D.O.A. Only Young Mack-T pursued a solo career, dropping several albums...
