Double-D, Dub D
Darrel Anderson, better known under his stage name Double D, was a gangsta rapper from the Fillmore District of San Francisco, CA. He was close with JT The Bigga Figga & the Get Low Playaz.
Double D released a solo album in 1996 through Eddy Street Records, entitled "Think About It". It is regarded as a Frisco underground classic. San Quinn, Seff Tha Gaffla, D-Moe, Willie Hen or Mac Shawn were featured on this hard to find release.
In 2002, Double D put out a collaborative album along with Telly Mac, titled "Continuous Heat".
He was also featured on several albums and compilations from the mid-90's until the early 2000's.
Double D was shot and killed on August 16th, 2003.
